The Kern County Board of Supervisors will hold a hearing on July 26, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. in the Board Chambers, at 1115 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, to consider the following items:
The Loop 58 Protective Association is appealing the decision of the Planning Commission to approve a CUP allowing a surface mining operation and reclamation plan in an A (Exclusive Ag) District, on the east side of Hwy 58, five miles northwest of Tehachapi.
Pine Tree Wind Development Project by Wind Turbine Prometheus proposes a zone change from E (20) to A and A WE (Wind Energy) on 8,000 acres, along with CUPs to allow construction of a temporary batch plant, located 15 miles northeast of Tehachapi.
Arnold CaTtani Jr. by Delmarter & Deifel propose a zone change from A to C-2 (General Commercial) PD on 5.63 acres at the southwest corner of Copus Road & Hwy 99, north of Mettler.
Donald & Elsie Subaru by California Land Surveys & Mapping Inc requests cancellation of a 3.65 acre portion of a land use contract, at the northwest corner of Houghton & Eberle Roads, south Bakersfield.
